Working on behalf of Bridon-Bekaert Ropes Group, Elevation Senior Finance are retained partners in the search for a Finance & Administration Director, EMEIA to add value as a key part of the regions senior management team and report directly into the Executive Vice President, EMEIA.
Bridon-Bekaert Ropes Group employs over 2,500 staff, across 19 production sites and 20 sales service centres across the world ensuring they have become a market leader with global presence generating c$500mill of sales annually.
The EMEIA region is a significant part for the group and has a turnover of c£120mill, made up of 5 manufacturing sites (4 in the UK and 1 in Germany) and sales offices in UK, Russia, Germany, Dubai, Poland and Africa. The region offers a diverse product range and unlike any of BBRG’s other regions, has a truly global customer base.
The Finance & Administration Director is a pivotal position within the EMEIA region and an integral part of the senior leadership team. The incumbent will be relied upon to help formulate the regions strategy, identify potential opportunities/risks and support the agreed plans to meet the business objectives. As part of a global group, there is also the requirement to ensure the accurate and timely provision of financial information and reporting in to the central finance function. As such it is essential that applicants can demonstrate a strong technical side to their skill-set in order to meet these requirements.
Although the Group itself is at a relatively early stage in its creation, the EMEIA region is made up of a number of established sites and the management team is a strong and talented group which encourages and welcomes support from the Finance & Administration Director. The successful candidate will need to have a proven track record and demonstrable examples of driving business performance, articulating financial information to non-financial staff and providing insight/opinion on commercial strategy to ensure they can quickly settle in and add value to the leadership team.
Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, this high profile role will also have regular interaction with the EMEIA leadership team and Group CFO and will be required to form close working relationships with the Operations Managers across the region and central finance team based in Doncaster.
Core Responsibilities will include:
- Safeguarding the region’s assets through effective authorisation and control procedures
- Production and regular review of the regions forecasts and budgets – utilising information to develop strategies to enhance business performance
- Ensuring the financial reporting timetables and strictly adhered to – continually developing policies and procedures where possible
- Develop a maintain a regional performance dashboard that gives early indication of future business performance to aid effective decision making
- Present and explain the regional finance performance and results to the Exec Team and Board of Directors
- Management of a team of c20 finance staff – both UK and internationally based
- Involvement within M&A research and transactions
- Presentation of the regional financial and operational performance to the leadership team and Group CFO.
