Job Description


Elevation Recruitment Group Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for a highly commercial, progressive Part-Qualified Accountant, on behalf of a dynamic business due to a highly impressive period of growth and expansion.

An overview of duties includes:

- Ensure accurate entry of journals, including the posting of relevant cash and bank transactions, accruals and prepayments, and other related expense balances
- Calculation of monthly accounting entries in line with both local Group accounting standards
- Maintenance of general ledger accounts, financial databases, accounting records, and other relevant databases
- Creation and completion of month-end conversion tools for assigned entities
- Preparation of assigned balance sheet reconciliations, including monthly variance analysis and rectification of any highlighted errors or miscoding
- Provide relevant financial information for budget and forecasting
- Process bank transactions and monitor bank account movements for all clearing accounts
- Preparation of bank and cash-pool reconciliations on a periodic basis
- Perform administrative duties for banking facilities
- Work with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable regarding any related queries
- Process bank payments, including ad-hoc supplier payments and payroll-related balances
- Prepare VAT clearing account reconciliations
- Work closely with the wider finance team and also cross-functionally with other departments to deliver value-added outputs and resolve any relevant queries
- Input into the preparation of various external reporting and/or regulatory returns

Skills required:

- Part qualified ACCA / CIMA
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Driven and passionate about a career in accountancy
- Excellent communication skills
