A global manufacturing company, Halifax Fan specialise in the design, manufacture and service of custom-made industrial centrifugal fans from simple combustion fans to complex high temperature hazardous gas handling applications.
This role is a great opportunity to join a growing company to ensure the technical delivery of challenging, interesting and varied engineered solutions.
The Design & Technical Manager will be responsible for:
- Providing technical leadership in the design and manufacture of products
- Working as part of a global team to improve design integrity
- Improve product designs to deliver reductions in material and efficiencies in production
- Direct management of a design team
- Provide and develop a suit of engineering applications
The Design & Technical Manager will need:
- The ability to communicate and influence across the business
- Experience and knowledge of fabricated mechanical moving parts
- Experience of managing or providing leadership to others
- The ability to work as part of a global team
