Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of Severfield to recruit a number of Fabricator  Welders to join their existing team at their factory in Sherburn, Malton.

They’re also growing fast, and right now they’re looking for experienced Welders and Fabricators to join them in permanent roles as part of their Products and Processing division, based in Sherburn, Malton. Commutable from York, Middlesborough, Hull areas.

They continually invest in new products, processes and manufacturing methods which means Malton is an exciting place to be.

You’ll get to work on their latest products such as their Severstor equipment, housing modules and their patented Rotoflo silo discharge unit. And your challenge will be to help them create even more of the iconic structures they’re known for.

You’ll spend your time reading complex engineering drawings and plating within their fabrication line - all to the highest quality standards within tight production deadlines.

The pay rate:

£15.35 p/h

The average annual earnings are up to £34,000

The shift pattern:

Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm

The role:

• Fabrication and welding of heavy steel structures
• Following strict health and safety guidelines
• Working from engineering drawings
• Completing jobs in full and on time

The successful candidate:

• Extensive experience of fabrication and welding in a similar environment is important.
• You’ll also ideally have either an L3 NVQ Fabricating and Welding qualification, a City and Guilds L3 in Fabricating, or an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Fabricating and Welding.
• Experience of working with modular buildings and large structural frames would be useful, too.
• Above all, you’ll know how important safety is, and you must have the right to work in the UK.
