Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be retained as the recruitment partner to Grupo Bimbo as they seek to appoint a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to be based at their successful manufacturing operation in Rotherham, but with responsibility for the whole UK business.

The UK subsidiary operates 3 bakeries specialising in Croissants and Bagels, and owns the market leading brand, New York Bakery Co. They have experienced significant growth in recent years, and with continued investment in the company, this is a great time to join them.

This is a critical role for the business, but one which is still in its infancy. The company is looking for an out-standing individual to join them, working closely with its stakeholders to really establish and build the role using their experience, self drive and knowledge. You will provide financial analysis that will enable a greater understanding of the future as well as the present day.

It is a high-profile role, where you will work closely with the senior leadership team, helping to drive profitability through the provision of outstanding data insight, and unearthing the issues and opportunities that are in the business. The role will act for the entire UK business, involving liaising with the other departments and countries in the business to control the flow and timing of key management information into the divisional office in Spain. You will also be the process owner for quarterly forecasting and the annual budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Completion of management information packs and reports for the UK Finance team including all commentary and insight
• Work with the leadership team to formulate the medium to long term financial and strategic plan
• Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors
• Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team
• Attend key UK meetings to gain broader insight into current challenges, strategies and insight into drivers of financial performance
• Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations
• Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
• End to end owner of quarterly forecast and annual budget including coordinating all processes, and having a deep and full understanding of the numbers, to be able to present in summary to the UK Leadership Team
• Financial analysis of business trends, identifying key issues and presenting findings to UK team
• Understanding of monthly financial results and producing a suggested action plan
• Streamlining all reporting to ensure it is produced in the fastest and most accurate ways possible
• UK lead for Zero Based Business and reporting
• Set up monthly reporting templates for the UK business. Ensure the UK monthly reporting packs into Europe and the UK are accurate, timely and complete
• Constantly look for better ways of working
• UK trouble shooter on key business issues

Key Skills:

• Fully qualified Accountant / qualified by experience
• Experience within manufacturing essential
• Business partnering experience in a similar role
• Proven ability of analysing and interpreting data
• Ability to hit the ground running
• Self driven with an ability to identify own agenda/workload
