Elevation Recruitment Group are working closely with our client based in the Chesterfield area to recruit a Graduate Procurement Analyst to join their already successful team.

The purpose of this role is to be accountabe for the placement of purchase orders to plan by assuring the most robust and cost-effective supply chain partner s selected prior and at point of purchase. You will be ensuring that purchase orders are placed and to service level KPI''s i line with the correct cost, MOQ and optional route of supply.

This role engages very closely with external stakeholders, whilst maintaining day to day contact with the companies internal stakeholders.

Main Accountabilities;

• Utilise the business purchase plan to identify suitable suppliers and place purchase orders in line with key KPI’s
• Engage with Supply planning to optimise point of purchase opportunities where supply routes offer additional commercial benefit whilst maximising ROI
• Ensure all customer backorders and same day P.O. requests are placed within the Inventory Planning SLA. Any exceptions are being addressed and communicated where applicable
• Overseeing the placement of project and complex customer inventory to initial customer requirements providing a just in time delivery service
• Assure a high level of availability of the companies most profitable and important products maintaining an always in stock position and addressing stock outs and low on hand inventory.
• Supervise the company Direct Ship process ensuring that orders are placed on the supplier with correct customer delivery details and costs associated

Skills, knowledge and experience required;

• Recent Graduate
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer – orientated thinking both internally and externally
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships
• Able to challenge the status quo and drive for high performance along with strong collaborative and influencing skills
• Ability to operate within a global organisation and to demonstrate cultural awareness
• Diversity and Inclusive aware
• Working knowledge of MS office suite, a strong background in MS Excel/Access/Power BI.
• Knowledge of Oracle Value Chain Planning or other recognised demand planning systems such as JDA, SAP would be an advantage
• Be a team player and drive for process automation through CI methodology and co-operative workstream planning.
