Job Description

Elevation Business Support are currently supporting a leading Utilities business with the recruitment of an IT Systems Co-Ordinator, to be based out of their HQ in Chesterfield.

The purpose of this role will be to support, develop and implement changes to designated IT systems to meet business expectations on time and within budget. You will design, control and adhere to change management procedures when working with business requests and developing all aspects of IT Systems; working closely with the businesses taking ownership of design and specification for application development or new applications; prioritising changes and communicating project timelines and change request status.

Duties & Responsibilities;

• Create forums and facilitate meetings to obtain clear development specification to match software changes to business strategy
• Build detailed specifications for change to enable external partners to quote
• Utilise and develop test plans, training plans, communication plans and implementation plans
• Manage and adhere to the agreed sign off /approval system for all changes
• Complete all month end or regular maintenance on time
• Manage all parties to ensure seamless implementation
• Coordinate with IT Manager on development and implementation strategy for the software applications within the IT portfolio
• Provide cover for other applications during periods of absence and holiday
• Communicate clearly with forums and the stakeholders within the business on status of all projects and changes
• Work closely with IT Manager on budget and strategy planning for yearly spend and 5-year plan for IT applications
• Participate in European change management forums as and when required

• High level understanding and experience of change management
• Strong analytical skills
• Good communication skills
• High level understanding of project management
• System build knowledge and experience
• Good facilitation skills
