Elevation HR are delighted to be working in partnership with Portakabin in their search for a Reward Manager.

Portakabin are a market leader in the design, manufacture and installation of modular buildings, and a pioneer of advanced modular construction. With the Head Office based in York they have over 1750 employees across 7 European countries.

The role of Reward Manager is a key position within the Portakabin and will translate the Reward vision (intrinsic and extrinsic) into market leading Reward propositions.

Job Details
• Develop and embed best practice pay and incentive reward cycles within each country in line with practice and law
• Ensure our benefits propositions are in line with leading organisations and as appropriate leveraging in-country tax incentives
• Educate HR and leaders in Reward levers to improve attraction and retention
• Review organisational design to establish actual and future role requirements and deliver internal equity by running a robust job evaluation mechanism
• To act with impartiality and integrity. Ensuring equality laws are followed and best practice DEI principles are considered within all Reward interventions
• Review and embed organisational Reward Framework in each country to ensure it is fit for local market
• Lead all pension scheme governance with external partners to ensure pension assets are driving best value to support a good standard of retirement for our colleagues
• Develop a global recognition approach that intrinsically motivates colleagues and drives strong engagement and loyalty

Key Skills / Qualifications:

• Degree educated
• Demonstrable knowledge of reward – pay & incentive cycles, benefits, and pensions
• Experienced in leading, developing and motivating teams
• Engaging, influencing, and managing stakeholders
• Demonstratable intellectual capacity to think broad and with depth as appropriate
• Adaptable, creative, and resilient with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Ability to prioritise complex demands with competing deadlines and stakeholder
