Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of Advanced Manufacturing Limited (AML) to recruit a Supply Chain Co-ordinator for their factory on Poplar Way (just off Sheffield Parkway), Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
AML are a highly specialised components manufacturer and supplier, focussed on aerofoil and rotative components. The opportunity
To Provide support to the business in relation to purchasing, raising orders, interfacing with suppliers from sourcing to delivery, offering efficient and effective solutions and service across the business.
The role:
- Raising purchase orders
- Gathering quotes from suppliers
- Updating prices and general data
- Chase purchase orders
- Request approval certificates from suppliers
- Monitor and report against project deliverables
- Interface with suppliers, sourcing, delivery and expediting of orders, capacity availability, forecasts of incoming parts/ material
- Promote effective communication between your functional area and other areas of the business
- Identify and advise your line manager of personal training requirements to ensure and enhance achievement of job role
- Perform any other duties that may reasonably be associated with the job in order to meet company needs
- Create pick lists for stores
- Book parts into stock
- Book transport for parts
- Split works orders and re-works
- Create and send forecasts to suppliers
- Support in the control of all stocks including onsite and consignment
- Review stock controls regularly, min & max stocks, reorder points etc
- Ensure obsolete stock is captured and not reordered
- Ensure all dates 7 data is updated in MRP system
- Atten/ lead meetings when required
- Inputting manufacturing route into the system to completion and release
- Support project team in creating project packs
- Raise chases and issues to production to achieve delivery dates and targets
- Review and complete supplier approvals
- Audit system to identity NCR’s and create corrective actions
- Keep all relevant systems aligned to conformance specifications
- Cover all contract reviews and sign offs
The successful candidate
- Experience working in a Team environment
- Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing
- Knowledge of Factory Master desirable
- Purchasing experience desirable
- Excellent communication Skills and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation Skills
- IT Skills, including Microsoft packages
