Elevation Recruitment Group launch huge ‘Volunteer Program’ and new Charity Partners

Elevation Recruitment Group continue to support local charities and offer employees the chance to give back to local communities during work time, in what has been a challenging time for many during the pandemic.

Today we have launched our CSR plans for 2021 / 2022 aimed at supporting two new charity partnerships, Sheffield Mind and Sheffield Young Carers as well as a huge Volunteer Program.  

CEO Greg Parkinson explained: “We have chosen two fantastic charities that we feel we can not only raise funds for, but also raise much needed awareness and brand support. The team voted for these two specific charities, and we are delighted to support them as an organisation, volunteer and contribute as much as possible.”

In support of our CSR plan, we have released a brand Volunteer Program that provides over 400 free business hours for our employees to use in community volunteering projects. Each month the team will be presented with various volunteering opportunities to take part in and use their allocated hours. As a business we feel this is an excellent opportunity for us to give back and support our local Yorkshire Community.

To further support our community, Elevation will be arranging a clothing drive for South Yorkshire charity – The Suit Works. We will be collecting various clothing items across August, which will be donated to the charity that support people in getting back into work and giving them a chance to ‘dress the part’ for their interviews.

In November, Elevation are headline sponsors of the sleepout event in conjunction with Roundabout. A great youth charity that provides shelter, support and life skills to young people aged 16-24 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We will raise money to brave the cold night by swapping warm beds for a sleeping bag and a hard floor. It gives a small insight into the challenges faced by vulnerable young people at risk of homelessness.

This fantastic program of supportive events made by the Group have been warmly received by the team and we are excited to see the great events, activities, and fundraising opportunities over the next 18 months.

Business Services Director, Sarah-Lee Neesam, says “Elevation announced in 2021 our move to becoming an Employee Ownership Trust, and as a business it is crucial, we are continually looking at what we can do for our employees and what is important to them.   Our team are very active in various sponsored events in their own time and have all been affected in different ways by charities that are close to their hearts. We put together a Charity Project Team, made up of different employees from across the business and together we listened to what the business wants and what we can do to give back even more, and we are so pleased with the result.”
