The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) is the largest multidisciplinary professional engineering institution in the world, with a worldwide membership of more than 167,000 across 150 countries.

A beacon of engineering expertise and ‘thought leadership’ in terms of engineering policy and legislation, the body has the authority to establish professional registration for the titles of Chartered Engineer, Incorporated Engineer, Engineering Technician, and ICT, as a Licensed Member institution of the Engineering Council.
