#TeamElevation prepares for Leeds 10k

On 9th July, five members of #TeamElevation are set to take on yet another gruelling physical challenge in order to raise funds for The Children’s Hospital Charity.

Part of a trio of challenges being tackled by our brave colleagues, and following the successful completion of the Leeds Half Marathon in May, the Asda Foundation Leeds 10k is one of the highlights on the region’s running calendar and best known for being fun, friendly and very atmospheric.

The race is now entering its 11^th year and attracts thousands of runners from across the region and further afield.

The event is just one of three races that our team are participating in, in an effort to raise for The Children’s Hospital Charity which is dedicated to enhancing Sheffield Children’s Hospital – one of only four dedicated children’s hospital trusts in the UK that provides integrated healthcare for children and young people, including community and mental health care as well as acute and specialist services.

Treating patients from across the whole of the North of England the charity is a cause close to the hearts of many of our employees, and members of our team will be further bolstering fundraising efforts by taking part in the Sheffield 10k on September 24^th.
